Yes, travelling on the Twin City Liner catamaran is also ideal for families with babies. Children up to 2 years old travel free (no seat entitlement). A stroller (must be foldable) can be carried free of charge – but be sure to declare the baby when booking so that a boarding pass can be issued.
Yes, there are toilets on board, including toilets for disabled persons.
Refreshments are not included in the Twin City Liner ticket price. However, you can purchase drinks and snacks on board.
The large-capacity car park is located at the Personal Port – Fajnorovo nábrežie 2, approximately 7 minutes’ walk from the Twin City Gate platform. The car park is monitored by CCTV and a physical attendant is available during the day. There is also a car park at Hotel Devín near the platform and an underground car park on Hviezdoslav Square in the direction from the waterfront (Carlton Garage). The nearest car park to the Twin City Gate – HUMA platform is the Park Inn Danube.
You can also use the streets in the vicinity, marked with information boards of the Bratislava Parking Assistant PAAS – which is the most affordable solution. Non-residents pay an hourly rate for parking after parking in these spots during paid times.
Yes, you can take your dog on board the boat. Dog transport is charged at € 5 per direction. The dog must have a valid European vaccination certificate, a muzzle and be on a leash.
Yes, bicycle transportation is possible for a fee of € 5/bicycle/direction. The Twin City Liner has a capacity for 12 bicycles. Reservation of a bike space is required in advance. However, it is not possible to transport tandem bikes, fatbikes or bikes with a trailer.
The Twin City Liner sails through the Danube Canal directly into the centre of Vienna at Schwedenplatz (U1, U4), and docks at the “Wien City” platform, between the Marienbrücke and Schwedenbrücke bridges.
