Small Carpathian Tour

Discover the magic of the Slovak countryside in the Small Carpathian region! This tour is a unique opportunity to learn to know not only the rich history, but also the remarkable traditions of the winemaking Small Carpathian region. During the tour you will have an opportunity to experience traditions on your own – taste delicious wines and make pottery at a small family pottery workshop. The tour begins in the royal Bratislava and continues through the Small Carpathian wine making towns and villages. This region has provided wines to the royal courts already in the medieval times. Then we find out how people used to live in a noble residence in the fairytale castle Cerveny Kamen (Red Stone Castle) and we are pleased to invite you to a fabulous Small Carpathian wine tasting. Afterwards at the pottery workshop, a local potter teaches us something about the acclaimed Small Carpathian majolica ceramic. If you wish, the ceramic products can be sent to you home after being fired.
